Mannequin Display

Dress from the Bottom
Dressing from the bottom on the major, the following product need to be the ‘bottoms’ – skirt, dress or trousers. Be aware for trousers these will need to be slotted over equally feet just just before putting in the footwear – the turned upright again and torso secured. To get a skirt or dress the torso would have to be secured back again on best on the legs/hip section initially before draping the skirt or dress around the head from the mannequin.

To enable smooth dressing of the top section (most visible section) it is necessary to first insert and secure one of the mannequins arms into the shoulder socket on the torso (make sure its the correct arm! right on the right side left on the left side). After securing one of the arms, open the blouse, shirt etc and slip it onto the secured arm - letting the excess fabric drape from the shoulder whilst you secure the other arm in place.

The other arm should be slipped down the sleeve (insert from the neck line down the length of the sleeve hand facing downwards. Then once fully inside the sleeve the arm can be secured.

Once the top garments are on and all components in place, the main 'dressing can begin. But first check to ensure that the full mannequin is firm & secure to the base. Once full dressed and styled the mannequin should be handled very little to avoid creasing so positioning accurately beforehand is advantageous.

MONKI

MONKI STORE

(One utama, Malaysia)

Monki is a philosophy for life and style. Monki stands out and you’ll want to take a look. Different with others store, MONKI use lightboxes, a lot of perimeter mirror work and shelves with scalloped edges to remind you of this shop-in-shop’s provenance. As you can see, MONKI windows displaying their latest collection/key look.

Psychedelic patterns, tentacled jellyfish, reflective mirrors and vintage vessels combine at the Monki store. Inspired by an underwater world, Stockholm-based studio Electric Dreams used a khaki-based colour scheme throughout the interior. The store’s design concept has been dubbed Sea of Scallops – reflected in the plentiful scallop-shaped patterns used throughout. A ceiling made of mirrors projects colourful elements and clothing into an endless pattern, while silver lights further enhance the dazzling effect. Lighting adequate, clothes hang on rope and rack.

(fitting room)

‘Our designs are about story-telling and themes,’ says Catharina Frankander of Electric Dreams. ‘We use playful exaggeration, surprising shapes, and spatially confusing mirrors to create the surreal effect that is an important part of our brand identity.’

Calvin Klein

CALVIN KLEIN

Calvin Klein is one of the most recognizable brands in fashion, whose philosophy of modern, minimalism. Klein typically uses clean lines and spare shapes for the brand's designs. For the second question which is their anchor collection, CK staffs and manager answered that Calvin Klein brand doesn't have fix items that are uniquely known for every season.'' Perhaps it will be the Calvin Klein T-Shirts. '' this what they said. We also analyzed that Calvin Klein's target customer's age actually didn't have restriction, their brand styles is suit for any age of women. Calvin Klein customer is the modern, urban and mature women belonging to the medium-high class of the society. They have customers who are over the age of  40 these go for the classics. They also have customers who are over the age of 25-40 who are a bit more experimental and prefer buy a variety of things.

Calvin Klein KLCC

The latest collection in this store is their Spring/Summer 2015 collection which are arranged all over the store. Calvin Klein's silhouettes are focused more on loose fit. For this collection, we also observed that the key colours is blue, yellow, orange and green. This collection is also inspired by old-school fashion. Calvin Klein is more popular on their black and white clothing.

Spring/Summer 2015 Womenswear

The  Calvin Klein store interior are mostly grey and beige coloured. For example, beige tiles for floor, grey ceiling and grey paint on walls. They also created a cosy ambience by putting yellow directional lighting all over the store. About the way the products are arranged, Calvin Klein's manager tell us the arrangement of products are based on their visual merchandiser. Other than this, no one can arrange the products or they will get punish. The clothes on rack are arranged based on colours example, black and orange, white and yellow. The whole store is displayed with their latest collection and other than table, bags shoes are displayed at the end of the store. My feel upon stepping in the store is very clean and tidy interior.
